Ellen, Almost two and one-half years ago my life was dramatically changed when my appendix burst from an appendix stone and my abdomen flooded with the fluids. I nearly lost my life. What I did lose was my quality of life due to overmedication of anti-biotics which caused C-diff. I had already been using the Shaklee probiotic in my daily regimen, but my newly acquired infectious disease doctor informed I would now have to consume 3x as much probiotics than normal every day in order to maintain my good gut flora. I informed my doctor that I was using the Shaklee product. He was very familiar with it and encouraged me in continuing with its use. I upped my Shaklee probiotics to 3x the normal dose, but when the Shaklee DI was brought out I decided to try that along with the daily probiotic I was taking and simply reduce the regular probiotics to the normal dose. Then I tried the Shaklee DI by itself. This was a great risk I was taking because of the danger of lowering my immune system and contracting C-diff again. However, the proven higher numbers of the DI compared to the regular Shaklee probiotic as well as more types and amounts of ingredients have proven the test a resounding success. Since the initial time in 2016 of having C-diff I have never had it again. This is a continuing shout of praise especially when I travel and the big city places I go are not always very clean. I credit the Shaklee products in my recovery and well as my health maintenance. I have been using Shaklee products since the mid-'90's for various health reasons as well as for vitamins. Their quality has always been well above any medication or any supplement I could purchase elsewhere. I would encourage anyone to seriously compare the facts on the labels. This product works.
